You will be pleased to note that the Department of Applied Physics, University of Calcutta has decided to organize an International Conference on "Control, Instrumentation and Information Communication " at Calcutta Science City between Dec13 to 15th, 2001. The call for paper attachment will indicate the scope of the conference. Prof. A. K. Dasgupta, Dean of Technology CU told us about the very successful meeting of CUSCAA that you have organized at Lowell. Let me congratulate you for the good work that you are doing at US. I take this opportunity to explore and to seek your help in our organization. 

1. Will it be possible for you to forward our circular attached herewith to your interested friends in US?

2. More importantly, can you recommend and contact some eminent invited speakers in the area of our interest who might agree to come to attend the conference at Calcutta. They may not be of  Indian origin. However we shall be in a position to offer only modest local hospitality. I know the time is on the negative side, but it might be a good idea to explore the possibilities.
